At the time we will install a new magnaclean as a permanent system cleaner so that the clean is a once only operation as apposed to a normal flush which needs to be done every 5 years. Stolen Boilers
Please be aware that there are a number of stolen boilers floating around the market place at the moment. If you are offered a central heating system or boiler change at a vastly reduced price, It may be that the boiler has been obtained by illegal means. This is fine until you register your guarantee or try to register with gas safe as the serial number will flash up as stolen. Big problem for householder. No problem for fitter as he now has been paid and is gone. You will have a mobile number and no confirmed name or address of the fitter.
A good way of avoiding this is to take the details off the gas fitter including his registration number then check on the gas safe register site to ensure the details match. If he is not gas registered then he should not be doing the job and you should not be employing him.
